The good thing about the packing is that there is no thermocol. All packing is made out of cardboard including the protection. Great job Benq !
Try as I might I couldn’t pull out the cardboard packing above the benq monitor. Seems there is a lock there which needs to be unlocked before one can pull out the top packing.
The lock is pretty nifty, all you have to do is reach inside and above the side slot of the carton and pull out the “flap”. Do this on both sides and the packing slides out effortlessly !
Pro Tip: For photography & calibration, use the display port and not the HDMI. Some HDMI truncates the bits to 35 – 235 instead of 0-255. I used an i1Display Pro to calibrate and set my screen luminance to 80 . If you do a lot of video get the i1Display Pro Plus or the i1Display Studio / . And if you want to add calibration to prints, get the iStudio which will do everything
Another thing to be aware if , on my windows 10 PC the HDMI took over the older audio setup and now my audio is routed via the monitor. Ive since changed to display port but my audio is still not “returned” to the old config.
I now have lots of screen real estate on my Benq SW321C 🙂
