Map of Bird Hides in India

Ive been wanting to do this map for a while now. I am not aware of one place where on can get this information. So here goes. Here is the list of places you can do “easy birding”. A chair, a thermos of chai and you are set 🙂 I will keep adding to this list as I get to know new locations.

24 June 2024: Karnala seems to be the ODKF capital. Now 5 hides in Karnala area !

  1. Sanjay Rai at Latpanchar, West Bengal has a hide. Right now it is not very frequented with different species but it should gain popularity with time. When I went there the star attraction was a common green magpie. Others were relatively common birds.
